My parents believed in the importance of education. Through their influence, I began a lifelong love affair with books, academia, and my creative interests. While at college, I discovered a passion for teaching college students communication in speech, composition, and design. Since then, I’ve worked to develop my skills in communication and education and to help others along the way.
When I’m not studying education, communication, or design, I enjoy spending time with my partner Wyatt, baking, biking, photography, and helping businesses develop effective brands and websites.
I’m a Senior at Florida International University studying a bachelor's degree in Organizational Communication. Before transferring to FIU, I was a Senior at West Coast Baptist College studying English Secondary Education, with minors in Speech, History, Visual Productions, and Graphic Design. Once I graduate with my bachelor's degree, I will pursue further education in communication arts, student success, and curriculum design.
Though I’m currently a student, I've gained valuable experience in many fields. I’ve designed brands and websites for local non-profits and businesses, tutored college students in effective composition, speech, and visual design, and guest lectured on the writing process.
